This is Chris Thompson, a popular vlogger from California.
He was moved to ask his followers about homosexuality after watching a shocking video made by Daniel Pearce, 19, from Georgia.
Pearce was abused by his family after he came out, and his footage of the abuse quickly went viral. As a result thousands of dollars were raised for him and for LGBT groups.
Thompson was hugely moved by the footage. On his video, he says: "Listen to the hate and anger in those people's voices. Is that really what God wants?"
He goes on to say: "I have a lot of LGBTQ people following this channel and on social media. So I ask them the question, 'If you could choose to be gay or straight, what would you choose?'"
The responses moved him to tears.
